Frank Desico


Owner, Strength Coach, Baseball Coach


Frank has 10+ years of experience in the strength and conditioning, as well as, the baseball industries. He has worked with all types of athletes ranging from professional players, collegiate, high school down to the youth levels. Has helped over 100+ athletes receive scholarships to play a sport at the collegiate level. His knowledge and passion has helped hundreds find real results and lasting relationships.

Some of his personal achievements include four year starter at the University of Notre Dame (Baseball) and Captain, record holder at Notre Dame and St. Ignatius HS (CLEVELAND) for multiple statistics (hits, stolen bases, games played, consecutive starts), also the Ohio State record holder for most punt return yards in a game and season (2008), played professionally in Cleveland for Avon Crushers (Baseball), he was the 18u National  Asst General Mgr for Team USA (2014), taken 3rd in the USAPL State Championships (2015,2017).

Kirk Simmons

U.S. Marine Corps, Bachelors in Exercise Science, Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach, Certified Stick Mobility Coach, Kettlebell and TRX Certified, Certified StrongFirst Barbell Coach 

Following his military serving, Kirk has spent the last 10 years as a fitness coach and continual learner within the industry. He offers a wide variety of training styles from performance to mobility coaching, but believes everyone is an athlete and should train with intent to achieve their goals. Kirk works with a wide range of clientele ranging from 10yrs to 80yrs old. He puts a focus on longevity and functional movement patterns in his training. 

A former rugby player turned lover of baking sweet treats in his free time! 


Maurice “Mo” May

Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist


Mo has over 10 years of experience in the sports performance industry. Originally from Toledo, OH, he has made Cleveland home since 2010 when he earned a scholarship to play football for Notre Dame College (South Euclid) as a defensive back. Mo specializes 
 in training athletes of all sports and is committed to their success on and off the field. 

Allison Occkial

Certified Holistic Nutritionist and Functional Medicine Coach, 
Certified Personal Trainer, Menopause Health Specialist, Pre/Post Natal Coach 

With 18 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, Allison specializes in helping busy women and mamas go from fatigued and frazzled to having energy, strength and confidence using fitness, functional medicine, and a personalized accountability. As a mom of two herself, her passion is to help other busy moms and women in mid-life learn how to properly lift weights, build strength, lose fat and ultimately develop healthy habits both in and out of the gym. Her services include personal training, online nutrition and exercise programming, holistic wellness plans and health coaching. Focuses on women of all ages with chronic stress, low energy, hormone imbalances, peri-menopause, thyroid and adrenal issues. 

Allison used to compete in bikini in the bodybuilding world, but now enjoys quality time with her family on her time away from coaching. 



Stefanie Tsengas 

Bachelors in Sports Nutrition and Exercise Physiology, 
 Certified Personal Trainer


With over 10 years experience in the fitness industry, Stefanie has helped countless women build strength, confidence and a sustainable relationship with the gym. Her coaching focuses on strength training, muscle development, fat loss, and women's health with a specialty in lower-body and glute development. She is also deeply passionate about helping women understand their physiology empowering them to train in alignment with their hormones, health and body rather than against it. Known for her ability to teach proper form and movement in a clear/ relatable way, Stefanie uses a structured system to help clients educate, progress, and train with confidence. Her goal is to help make fitness a long term part of life, not just a short term fix. 
Stefanie is a proud Greek and visits her motherland every year with family. 

Peter Kostelnik


U.S. Marine Corps, Certified Personal Trainer

Peter has been working as a fitness coach for over 11 years following his wrestling and military careers. Peter specializes in strength, conditioning and weight management. He has experience working with all fitness levels from beginners to advanced as well as kids to elderly. Peter's focus in his coaching is on ensuring that his clients train correctly, train hard, and make consistent/measurable progress. 

Mike Fedor

Bachelors degree in Exercise Science, Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist

Mike is a fitness professional with years of experience which has enhanced his ability to design safe, effective and individualized training programs. Mike has worked with the Spire Institute where he gained hands-on experience in a high performance training environment. He is the current Strength and Conditioning Coach for Willoughby South HS and continues to work privately at OSF with a wide range of clientele (adult fitness to athlete centric) focusing on improving performance, movement quality and overall health. 

Shalom Arellano 

Masters in Exercise Science, Bachelors in Exercise Physiology, ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist  

Shalom has an incredible resume focusing on overall health from strength training to aerobic output. He has special training in PNF release( recovery technique through kinesiology). He incorporates all three phases of overall health (weight training, nutrition, recovery) into his day to day coaching with a wide demographic of clientele. 

Shalom is an avid Pokemon player and collector. He plays in tournaments around the country! 

Eliana Marks 

NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach, Women's Fitness Specialist, Metabolism and Hormone Specialist

Eliana has found a niche specializing in weight loss and beginner fitness. Having navigated her own weight loss journey and overcome health challenges through lifestyle changes, she brings a unique level of empathy and insight into every session. Currently studying to become a Physical Therapist Asst, Eliana combines her passion for fitness with a deep understanding of body mechanics. Her mission is to create fun and effective programs that help clients find long term success inside and outside the gym. 

Eliana has a dream to one day live on a ranch in the mountains. 

Mike Zack 

Boxing Coach

With over 15 years of coaching and fighting experience in some of the more prolific boxing/MMA gyms in the Cleveland area, Mike brings an incredible degree of knowledge, passion and relationship building to his training style. His clientele ranges from kids to Adults to professional boxers needing fine tuned before the big day. His ability to bring what the client needs to every session in order to enhance the skill is what has made Mike extremely successful. He offers small group sessions (2 people) or individual one on one work. 


Sydney Grendow 

Bachelors Exercise Science, NASM Certified Personal Trainer, NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist, AFPA Pre & Post Natal Fitness Specialist, Precision Nutrition Lvl 1 Coach 

Sydney has been dedicated to empowering women to achieve strength, confidence and a balanced lifestyle with an approach that centers around realistic and sustainable training and nutrition strategies. She has helped countless women lose body fat, build muscle and create successful lifestyle routines no matter the starting point. 

When she isn't training clients, you can find her hanging out with her husband and her dog, on a walk or trying new recipes in the kitchen! 

 

Alisa Korn

Doctor of Physical Therapy, Bachelors in Biology, Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, Certified Dry Needling, Certified Barbell Rehab Method 

Alisa brings over 16 years of clinical experience and fitness training with specializes in neurological rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation, post-operative recovery, and general orthopedic injuries. Alisa integrates evidence-based rehabilitation with strength training principles to help her patients/clients return to high-level function and performance. With her knowledge and expertise in dry needling and barbell rehab, she blends manual therapy, movement analysis and progressing loading for optimal outcomes. She has an enduring passion in bridging rehab and performance training. 

Alisa is a former collegiate volleyball player and NPC Figure Competitor 


 

Emily Butler 

Doctor of Chiropractic, Bachelors in Exercise Physiology 

Dr. Emily is the owner and chiropractor of our partner business, Kirtland Chiropractic. She loves helping people live pain free through natural, hands-on techniques that she has mastered over the years. Her focuses are on manual spinal adjustments, soft tissue mobilization/IASTM, and cupping. Whether her patient is 1 week old or 80 years young, she strives to help them reach their goals with personalized care. Tom Longs 

Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Sports Massage, Certified Personal Trainer 

Former collegiate wrestler at THE Ohio State University, Tom brings a level to massage therapy like none other. An experienced massage therapist who has spent over two decades treating and bringing his knowledge and expertise in hot stone therapy, cupping, myofascial release, deep tissue and sports massage to his clients. Tom's business, Hands for Healing, has been partnered and working with OSF members since OSF's inception in 2015. A former gym owner himself, Tom brings a special knowledge and understanding to his work with avid gym goers and fitness related recovery as well as personal training services. 

 

Nate Bollas 

Certified Personal Trainer 

Training consistently himself over the last decade, Nate has taken his personal experiences, in learning the body and its mechanics, to create coaching focuses on strength building and adaptability. He enjoys a different approach of rotating through exercises/methods to keep the training engaging, educational, and opportunistic. With an athletic background in some mixed martial arts, Nate has developed the knowledge on how to adjust training for athletic performance, conditioning, and injury prevention. His goal is to help his clients get stronger, move better, and build a body that performs well both in and out of the gym. 

Nate likes to adjust training methods, in some capacity, based on what he is currently learning whether specifics such as powerlifting, sport performance or jiu-jitsu
